Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) offers a practical approach to helping people manage difficulties with emotions and thinking patterns, and ineffective behaviors through concrete steps in skills groups. People love how user-friendly and operational the skills are and how applicable they are to all areas of life.

DBT Individual Counseling

The DBT model is based on weekly skills groups in conjunction with weekly individual therapy sessions, where personal targets are addressed and the client speaks about what is essential in their life. As a DBT therapist, I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and accept necessary changes.


Mindfulness and Meditation Instruction

Robust research supports the use of mindfulness for a wide variety of issues rooted in emotional dysregulation, impulse control, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), among many more challenges we face today. Mindfulness is a foundational integral part of DBT, and also in my approach to counseling and living my daily life.
