About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I specialize in intelligent approaches to complex and challenging situations for adults, parents, and young adults, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches: DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), Nonviolent Communication, and somatic and mindfulness-based practices, which function to empower clients to:

  • recognize their values and goals

  • foster strengths

  • access dormant parts of a person's highest self

  • have freedom from self-limiting beliefs and destructive patterns

  • figure out who they want to be in the world

  • build a fulfilling life

  • strengthen one's core sense of self â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹

I bring to the counseling profession my core values of compassion, wisdom, warmth, and competency.

For nearly a decade, I’ve worked with individuals and families in both private practice and clinical settings. Before establishing my private practice in 2016, I provided therapy at Hartford Healthcare Medical Group, where I introduced and facilitated DBT skills groups for adolescents and adults. Today, I work with adults and young people seeking help with emotional regulation, anxiety, relationship challenges, and personal growth.

I’m committed to continuous professional development and have completed extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I regularly participate in advanced IFS consultation groups led by experts including Richard Schwartz and Osnat Arbel.

My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their inner experiences and develop tools to live with greater ease and authenticity. I believe that growth begins with curiosity and self-compassion, and I’m honored to accompany clients on that journey.
